Founding owners/ winemakers Rod & Cynthia Snapp are two of of the people who were instramental in establishing and bringing the vision of vineyards and wineries to the Verde Valley. Rod was formerly Vice President of Arizona Wine Growers/ northern chapter as well as serving on the Legislation board for the Verde Valley Wine Consortium . The result is a new Arizona industry which continues to grow at a staggering pace and inspire people to make their own dreams into reality.

 

  Javelina Leap is a 10 acre estate vineyard with a fully equipped winery and tasting room. Rod & Cynthia Snapp make superlative handcrafted wine one ton at a time,with extreme care and attention to the smallest of details.

Javelina Leap is just minutes outside of Sedona Arizona in the small historic valley of Page Springs. The tasting room, Gift shop, winery & vineyard are located on the slopes of a volcanic mountain, overlooking the lush greenbelt of Oak Creek. The entrance to the Javelina Leap tasting room is located directly across the from the Arizona State Fish Hatchery. We are the closest winery to the historic Page Springs Steakhouse. Northern Arizona's Verde Valley offers many hotel, resort and B &B lodging options.
