You will look long and hard before you will find another 100 % Sauvignon this good ! Refreshingly light with peach and mild lemon citrus flavors. This one is truly outstanding! A good choice for those just getting to know drier white wines. $24. per bottle What a steal !!

2009 ZINTHIA

100% Arizona Grown & Made Zinfandel. Made by owner and assistant winemaker Cynthia. An elegant medium bodied zin , mouth watering straberry nose and flavor with a hint of dark chocolate, and white pepper. Aged in re- coopered medium toast french and hungarian oak barrels. $45. per bottle

2010 ZINFANDEL ( NEW! )

The blend of 4% Petite Sirah and 96% Zinfandel  makes this wine a classic zinfandel style. Round and full bodied. Rasberry and cherry flavors with a hint of vanilla. Petite Sirah gives the wine a wonderful bit of earthiness. Aged in medium toast, re coopered, french oak barrels giving the wine some smokey notes as well. $20. per bottle. A great value !!

Wow ! Says it all. One of our best Syrahs ever! From a single old vine vineyard. Smooth, earth and oak, cherries and fig, A hint of lcorice. A Syrah lovers Syrah. Aged in medium toast French & American oak barrel.s $35. per bottle

FORBIDDEN FRUIT PORT STYLE ZINFANDEL ( NEW! )

This 100% Arizona grown and made Zinfandel has been fortified to create a port style wine. Rich , smoky, smooth and full bodied. Cherry, cranberry, dark chocolate and coffee flavors. 23% alc. by vol. 1/2 bottles ( 375 ml  ). After dinner aperitif, desert or with your favorite cigar. Aged 2 years on medium toast french oak barrels. $35.per bottle

This is a big bodied 100% Zinfandel with all the wonderful jammy and spicy qualities that Javelina Leap Zinfandels are known for. A Zin lovers Zin. Aged 12 months in French Oak and American Oak Barrels. ALC. 15.2% by vol. $35.00 per bottle.

We usually release our new wines between June and November of each year with the exception of wines that require more time in barrels. It's always win makers Rod & Cynthia Snapp's call.

SINGLE BARREL WINES

All our wines are created with the knowledge, skill and passion of winemaker Rod Snapp. When we label something as a Single Barrel, it means the wine is being bottled from one particular oak barrel . During routine barrel tasting's sometimes winemaker Rod Snapp feels the wine in that particular barrel is so exceptional that he does not want to blend it with any other barrels of wine. This does not happen automatically every year, you just never know when one might come along. A single wine barrel makes only 24 cases or 288 bottles of wine.

Javelina Leap Vines

In May of 2006, 2250 vines were planted. The vines are two clones FPMS ( Foundation Plant Material Services ) certified by the viticulture department at U.C. Davis. All plants are zinfandel varietals, Deaver and Dupratt on root stalks 1103P and 110R.
